Hey Friends,
In today's manifesto, we explore three things I’m doing this fall to help me stay aligned in my feminine energy while building my business. I’m sharing these practices because, as we are in the fall season, it’s easy to get swept up in the excitement of holidays like Halloween, Thanksgiving, and the coming soon-Christmas (if you celebrate). Even if you don’t, the collective energy of people around you can spill over into your own, making it harder to maintain your own flow. That's why staying grounded in your feminine energy is essential, especially when you’re managing a business.
So let’s dive into the three things I’m focusing on this fall to stay connected to my feminine essence while growing my business from a place of ease.
1. Prioritizing Nighttime Rituals for Better Sleep
The first step I’m focusing on this fall is improving my nighttime routine to get better sleep, especially because I have a thyroid condition that sometimes causes insomnia. If you’re like me and find that your sleep gets disrupted—whether due to health conditions or even external factors like the full moon—having a grounding evening routine is a must.
What I’ve noticed is that my sleep suffers during the full moon; my dreams become vivid, colorful, and hard to ignore. While this can be an interesting spiritual experience, poor sleep is tough on both your body and your business. When I don’t sleep well, I’m not showing up as my best self in my business.
Here are a few things I’m doing to optimize my sleep and stay in tune with my feminine energy:
Drinking Everydaydose: It’s a mushroom-based coffee alternative with a touch of caffeine. While I enjoy it some nights, on others, I opt for Calm magnesium, which helps me unwind and even boosts my nail health. It’s been a game-changer for my nighttime rituals.
Limiting late-night activities: I’m a manifesting generator, and as much as I love a clean house, I’ve realized that if I don’t feel like cleaning, I simply don’t have the energy for it. Sometimes, laying in bed, reading a blog, or listening to soft music is exactly what I need to restore my energy. It’s about letting go of what doesn’t feel pleasurable or aligned in the moment.
If you find that you’re pushing yourself to do “just one more thing” before bed, I invite you to stop and reflect: How can you support your energy with rest? Your feminine energy thrives when you allow it to regenerate, and a restful night’s sleep is a key component of that.
2. Simplifying My To-Do List to Create Space for Flow
One of the best things I’ve done this fall is declutter my to-do list. As women, especially those of us who are entrepreneurs or caretakers, our lists can become endless. Between running a business, maintaining a home, and managing family obligations, it can feel like there’s never enough time.
This fall, I’m focusing on simplifying. I ask myself daily, What is truly essential today? Not everything has to be done at once. Just the other day, I had to prep the house for some bathroom renovations, and instead of stressing about cleaning every corner, I did what was necessary and let the rest go.
I’m not going to lie: leaving a couple of dishes in the sink was a big deal for me. But you know what? It felt so liberating to remind myself that I don’t have to do it all. I wiped the counters, rinsed the dishes, and left it at that. Sometimes, being in our feminine means allowing things to be undone for the sake of our peace.
This mindset of doing less is what helps me create more space for relaxation and creativity. When we let go of the idea that everything must be perfectly balanced, we create space for what really matters—time to pour into ourselves.
So this fall, I encourage you to look at your to-do list and ask yourself, What can I remove today so I can pour into myself?
3. Enhancing My Self-Care With Sensory Experiences
I’m diving deep into self-care this fall, and for me, that means indulging in luxurious sensory experiences, especially scents. I’m a lover of perfume and body sprays because they help me feel grounded and feminine. Lately, I’ve been replenishing my scent collection and experimenting with new fragrances that make me feel empowered and peaceful.
A couple of months ago, I went on a “vanilla journey,” layering scents like honey perfume, brown sugar body spray, and coconut soap. It was such a departure from my usual Chanel or Daisy, but it felt so aligned with the softness and warmth I wanted to embody at that moment.
If perfumes aren’t your thing, consider exploring other sensory experiences that bring you joy. Whether it’s essential oils, candles, or even cozy fabrics, the way we feel is so deeply connected to our environment. For example, I’ve been thinking about getting a jade bracelet, as I’ve been really drawn to the grounding energy of jade lately. Whatever it is for you—whether it’s a new scent or a crystal that catches your eye—allow yourself to explore those desires.
This practice isn’t about consumerism; it’s about tuning into the things that help you embody the energy you want to feel. When I spray my perfume, it’s like flipping a switch that says, It’s time to be in my feminine. These small rituals help me stay connected to myself and show up in my business with clarity and purpose.
Build Your Business from Feminine Energy
As we move through the rest of the fall season, I invite you to integrate these practices into your life. Whether it’s creating a restful evening routine, simplifying your to-do list, or finding sensory experiences that bring you back to your feminine essence, each of these practices will help you build a business from a place of flow and ease.
The truth is, hustle and burnout are not sustainable. The most successful businesses are those built from alignment, where you can trust yourself to make decisions from a space of peace and pleasure. This is exactly what women can access through the tools and resources in the Pleasure and Peace Portal. Each month, I release new evolutions with audio activations, calibrations (journal prompts), and invitations (affirmations) to help you reconnect with your feminine energy and build your business from a place of flow.
Live pleasurably,
