Hey friends,

Have you ever noticed how when you focus on something, it suddenly starts appearing everywhere in your life? And no, I’m not just talking about those moments when you mention something near your phone, and suddenly ads for it pop up on your social media (though, yes, that’s real too). I mean, when you're truly ready for a change—whether it's conscious or subconscious—you start seeing opportunities, tools, and resources aligned with that shift appearing in your world.

This has been my experience lately as I’ve been reconnecting with cyclical living. Years ago, I used to live more in sync with the seasons, and my mood would change accordingly. It’s fascinating how everything in nature constantly changes, yet we sometimes resist change within ourselves. Recently, I’ve felt the nudge to get back into that rhythm. I’ve noticed that as I start to focus on living more cyclically, resources and new ideas about it come my way—almost like the universe is sending little signals to encourage me forward.

Alongside this, I’ve also been leaning into slow living as we transition into fall, embracing a more hygge way of life. If you’re unfamiliar, hygge (pronounced hoo-gah) is a Danish concept centered on coziness, comfort, and contentment. And in this slower pace, I’ve reconnected with something even deeper: my femininity.

Rebuilding My Feminine Foundations

What does moving from my feminine side mean? For me, it’s about reconnecting with those little rituals and actions that bring me back to a state of feeling soft, present, and at peace. It’s in the small, intentional moments—like sitting at my dressing table in the evening, gently wiping off my makeup with a soft, reusable poof and rose water. It’s putting on dainty earrings in the morning, applying perfume slowly, and allowing myself to be present in these simple, pleasurable moments.

To my surprise, this shift has made me feel…girly. And I’m loving it. I’ve never considered myself a "girly girl," but there’s something so empowering in this reconnection. Even something as simple as admiring the way I feel when I put on my tiny hoop earrings with a delicate little diamond dangle brings me immense joy. These small acts of self-care and adornment allow me to be more in tune with myself—and that’s the essence of building what I call “feminine foundations.”

The Power of Presence

These foundations aren’t just about the physical items, though. They’re about creating a state of being where I can slow down, be present, and allow myself to receive joy and peace. I’ve found that the more I lean into this way of living, the more resources and opportunities appear to support me in staying connected to my femininity. It’s almost as if deciding to live this way opens a door to endless possibilities for more pleasure and peace.

And it’s not just about the external things like press-on nails or cute earrings. It’s about the energy and intention behind them. It’s about moving through life from a place of softness, openness, and receptivity. It’s about giving yourself permission to embrace the present moment and create space for what feels good.

Feminine Foundations: Your Invitation

So, I invite you to reflect on what feminine foundations you can build in your life. What rituals, choices, or small shifts can bring you more peace and pleasure? How can you create more moments of joy and softness in your day? These small changes can lead to profound shifts in how we feel, move, and live.

Remember, our natural state—especially as women—is one of pleasure and peace. While we may not be in that state 24/7, reconnecting with it more often will align us with our true essence.

Thank you for joining me on this journey of reconnection and rediscovery. If this resonates with you, come hang out with us in the Manifest That Shift community on Facebook, where we talk all things femininity, peace, pleasure, and personal growth. Let's build these feminine foundations together.

Here’s to remembering: unscripting is key for living pleasurably.
