Rewiring Your Mind While You Sleep: A Journey Into the World of Activations

The Power of Sleep Soundtracks

Most nights, you'll find me drifting off to sleep with something playing softly in the background. It's not the usual white noise or lullabies—I’m talking about affirmations, a mix of soothing words, and sometimes a little bit of music to ease me into my dreams. YouTube is my go-to for this, and a few months ago, I decided to take matters into my own hands and create something I like to call "activations."

What’s an Activation, Anyway?

Now, before you ask, no, I haven’t done a deep dive into the science behind all this. But hey, if it feels good and makes a difference in how I wake up, why not? If you're a research buff and know more about this, feel free to school me. But in the meantime, I’m all about these self-made sleep soundtracks that seem to reprogram my mind while I catch some Zs.

So, what exactly is an activation? Imagine a sound—a whisper of words, really—that taps into that part of you needing a gentle nudge toward your best self. It's like a flick of a switch, a tiny shift that sets off a chain reaction in your mind. I like to think of it as a 1% shift, which, trust me, adds up in the long run. We often think that change has to be this big, dramatic event, but more often than not, it’s the small, subtle shifts that bring about the most profound differences.

The Birth of the Freedom Codes

One of the first activations I whipped up is called the Freedom Codes. Why? Because the concept of freedom—whether it's time, money, or just the ability to live life on your own terms—has always been something I hold dear. We all have our unique takes on what a freedom-based life looks like, but the desire for freedom is pretty universal. Yet, there always seems to be some pesky block keeping us from fully embracing it. For me, it was a big one.

Reconnecting With Myself

Let's rewind about a year. I was feeling totally disconnected—out of sorts, directionless, and just plain stuck. I wanted to create this life of freedom, but I couldn’t figure out the "how." Cue the spiritual practices. I may not be the most traditional Muslim, but I've always had a deep spiritual connection. Whenever I feel lost, I turn inward, reconnecting with that higher power to find my way back to myself.

Creating My Own Activations

I'm all about trying new things, so when the idea of creating my own activations hit me, I went for it. Listening to these guided meditations—these activations—helps me move through the metaphorical mountains standing between me and the life I want to live. They describe the person I want to become, flipping the mental switch that allows me to step into that version of myself.

The Freedom Codes are all about stepping into your freedom-based lifestyle. What does freedom feel like for you? How do you activate that feeling? How do you clear out the mental blocks holding you back? These are the questions these activations help you answer. They’re not about making a huge leap, but rather those small, significant 1% shifts that get you closer to your goals. Another activation I created is the Goddess Code. Now, before you think I’m diving into some ancient mythology, let me clarify. This isn’t about worshipping goddesses but rather tapping into that inner power we all have—the one that makes us realize we have the ability to create the life we want. We often underestimate our own potential, burying it deep down under layers of social conditioning and self-doubt. These activations help bring that power back to the surface, giving you the confidence to lean into who you truly are.
