How to Reclaim Pleasure: Simple Daily Practices to Awaken Your Feminine Energy and Experience More Joy

Hey Friends!

In today's manifesto, we're diving deep into reclaiming something that's so natural to us, yet so easily forgotten—pleasure. It’s all about bringing more joy into our everyday lives, especially when life gets overwhelming or we feel disconnected from ourselves. Let’s remind ourselves that pleasure isn’t something we need to earn. It’s our birthright, and today, I’m going to show you how to welcome more of it into your daily world with ease.

Reclaiming Pleasure as Part of Your Feminine Energy

At its core, feminine energy is all about receptivity and flow. It’s intuitive, nurturing, and deeply tied to our senses. By allowing yourself to embrace pleasure, whether it’s in the softness of your favorite sweater, the scent of freshly picked flowers, or the rhythm of music that makes your heart dance, you’re awakening your feminine energy. This energy thrives on being present, not on checking off to-do lists or striving for achievements.

We’ve been conditioned to see pleasure as indulgent or selfish—“caca,” as I like to say. So many of us have internalized the belief that pleasure is something we have to “earn” after hard work, as if we don’t deserve to feel good in the moment. It’s time to rewrite that story. Pleasure is essential, non-negotiable even. When we embrace it, we reconnect with our true selves.

The Role of Mindfulness in Reclaiming Pleasure

One of the most powerful tools in reclaiming pleasure is mindfulness. Mindfulness allows us to be fully present in the moment, and it’s something I’ve been working on personally. When we’re truly present, we notice how much joy exists in the simplest of things. Whether it’s the smell of fresh coffee, the warmth of the sun on your skin, or the sound of birds outside your window, mindfulness brings those moments into focus.

Next time you’re engaged in a simple task—like washing your hands or eating a meal—bring your full attention to the sensations. What does the water feel like? How does the food taste when you slow down and savor it? These small acts of awareness can transform the mundane into the magical.

Simple Practices to Reclaim Pleasure Daily

So, how can we practically invite more pleasure into our lives? Let’s break it down into a few simple practices:

1. Slow Down

One of the first things I did to reconnect with my feminine foundation was to slow down. We live in a culture that glorifies busyness, but pleasure can only be felt when we pause long enough to notice it. So, give yourself permission to move through your day at a pace that allows you to feel: the breeze, the ground beneath your feet, or the softness of your clothes. Slowing down, even for just a few minutes, can make pleasure effortless because it’s already around you.

2. Embrace Sensuality

Your senses are gateways to pleasure. Whether it's the smell of your favorite candle, the feel of a cozy blanket, or the taste of your favorite tea, take time to indulge them. Make space for your senses to be alive! I love to designate a specific “pleasure moment” in my day—something as simple as listening to a favorite song or stepping outside for fresh air. These small, intentional acts of sensuality remind you that pleasure is right here, right now.

3. Engage in Creative Expression

Creativity is a direct line to feminine energy. Whether it's painting, writing, dancing, or cooking, engaging in a creative activity can bring so much joy. And remember, it’s not about the outcome! Creativity is about the process. So, try doodling, rearranging a room, or even whipping up a new dish. The key is to let yourself play without judgment.

4. Practice Self-Care

Self-care isn’t limited to bubble baths (though, trust me, those are amazing—I can’t wait to enjoy one once my tub is resurfaced!). Self-care is about doing things that make you feel loved and nurtured. Maybe it’s putting on your favorite lotion or perfume, sipping tea in silence, or spending time in nature. These small rituals make a big difference when it comes to reclaiming joy and pleasure.

Affirmations for Reclaiming Pleasure

Let’s wrap up with a few affirmations to remind ourselves of our worthiness to experience joy and pleasure:

I am worthy of experiencing joy and pleasure.

Pleasure flows to me effortlessly and abundantly.

I embrace joy in every moment.

Repeat these daily as a way to reinforce your worthiness. You don’t need to wait until you’ve “earned it”—pleasure is already available to you simply because you’re alive.

Return to your feminine essence and bring more peace and pleasure into your world

The Connection Between Pleasure and Self-Worth

The truth is, your ability to experience pleasure is tied to your level of self-love. If you don’t believe you’re worthy of joy, it will always feel out of reach, no matter how much you try to create it. Reclaiming pleasure means reclaiming your self-worth. You deserve to feel good—not after the to-do list is done, but now. Right now. You are worthy of pleasure simply because you are.

So, as you move forward, know that pleasure and joy are not far-off destinations. They are within reach, just waiting for you to slow down, tune in, and receive them. By making pleasure a daily practice, you align with your feminine energy and cultivate a deeper sense of peace and fulfillment.

That’s all I have for you in this manifesto. If it resonated with you, or if you think someone else could use a little more peace and joy in their life, please share this with them. And I’d love to hear what practices you’re going to try or what part of this manifesto spoke to you. Leave a comment below and let’s start a conversation!
